Chairman

Tony Murphy is the Head of Financial Accounting and Global Treasury Manager at VisitBritain, the UK government body for Tourism.

 

Working with the User Group committee for the last 4 years Tony has taken on the Chairman's role after Phil Harris resigned last year.

 

Tony has been in the organisation for 29 years and has worked with CODA products since 1989 when VB started operating the CODA Open VMS proprietary system.

 

VisitBritain runs CODA worldwide with many ledgers and currency operations. The full E-Finance suite went live in 2004 and we currently are running on V10.101 with an upgrade to Neon V11.300 in the pipeline. VisitBritain runs E-Finance, E-Billing, E-Procurement, E-Invoice Matching, E-Assets and E-Add Ons with CODA XL running alongside these modules. Report writing is with COGNOS V8 which is about to go live following a 3 month installation project in early 2009.
